Cogmed

Cogmed working memory training is an evidence-based, computerized training program designed by leading neuroscientists to improve attention by effectively increasing working memory capacity. The program helps you create a platform for learning skills. Neuroplasticity, the notion that the brain can reorganize itself and change, is what allows Cogmed to effectively change the way the brain functions to perform at its maximum capacity. Numerous peer-reviewed research studies have found beneficial effects of Cogmed training on brain function and cognitive performance.

There are many training programs for various skills such as reading, math, or time management. Cogmed acts on a different, more fundamental level. Once your working memory has improved, you will find that acquiring new skills is suddenly much more doable for you. This is because limitations in attention and working memory can serve as a "bottleneck" for more complex forms of thinking and problem solving across the lifespan.
